I’m in love

As a lecturer and consultant I have spent countless hours making economics diagrams in Powerpoint. Today I discovered Omni Graph Sketcher and it changed my life. I made this diagram the very first time I used Omni Graph Sketcher:

It only took 10 minutes, despite never having used the program before. I’m pretty good with Powerpoint, and it would have taken at least as long, if not longer, and the end result wouldn’t have looked as good. Most importantly, Omni Graph Sketcher didn’t cause me any stress whatsoever. As anyone who has grappled with Powerpoint’s drawing tools will know, the same cannot be said for making even a simple diagram in Powerpoint.

But wait, there’s more … Omni Graph Sketcher costs only US$29.95. It would be a bargain at twice the price.

There is one catch though — it’s only available for Mac. But who uses a PC these days anyway?
